CURRENT ACTIONS:

A major goal of the UBC is to be the bicyclist's voice in state government. Over the last year, UBC has worked directly with politicians and transit authorities to craft and encourage legislation that improves conditions for Utah bicyclists.  For example, House Bill 49, legislation calling for motorists to give 3 feet of clearance when overtaking a bicyclist on Utah roadways was signed into law by Governor Huntsman in February of 2005.
