I bought this item through Amazon. The product arrived and the left side of the unit had about a 3 inch horizontal tear. Not the best sign of quality control right out of the box. So I called the support line and was on hold for 9 minutes. The rep who I spoke with advised that they were short-handed this week….ok. The csr advises that they will send me out a replacement part, without really confirming where my tear was. As it turns out, she was going to send the top canopy instead of the part I actually needed.

So she evidently now is sending me the right part and begins describing the detailed (albeit not ultra complicated) process of replacing the part. I asked if the part will come with directions. She said that it wouldn’t but that if I couldn’t figure it out I could call customer service back and they could walk me through it (8:00-5 CST, M-F).

So now I’m retrofitted the base of this trailer that my children are supposed to ride in…not the kind of situation I thought I’d be inheriting.

    So far, very dissappointed.

I love it! It is light weight, has tons of storage, follows my bike everywhere! I like the bar around the tire, it adds width so be careful but it protects my wheels from getting ripped off by other cyclist or blind roller bladers. It folds up easily and compact. Very easy to setup and use. I would highly recommend it. Oh the 20 inch wheels are much better and safer than the smaller 13 inch ones on other models. So don’t hesitate and buy it! But please don’t spend out of your budget we don’t need anymore credit card debt in our society. Go Mitt Romney 08!!!

Bought this product to use at my parents’ house out of state (way less expensive than buying a second Chariot). It doesn’t protect our son from the sun like the Chariot, and the harness straps are more difficult to use, but he seems pretty happy in it all the same. For the price, it is completely functional for as often as it will be used. Also, the right wheel arrived completely bent out of shape. I am calling the company right now to see if they will replace it.

After searching long and hard for a trailer, we ended up with this one. We love it!! I have a 5 year old and a 20 month old and they both ride in it together. Sure, there isn’t tons of space for both, but they did awesome and had a great time. Great storage for the snacks and drinks and more storage behind the seata for more stuff! The sling seats seem more comfortable then expected. As others have said, the straps are kind of a pain till you get the hang of it. I definitely recommend getting a trailer with the 20in wheels….makes for a smoother ride ride. Attaches and dettaches easliy from my bike. We haven’t used it for a stroller and probably won”t b/c we have a jogger already. It has great weather coverage. Just got caught in a sudden down pour and my daughter stayed dry! Overall, I highly recommend this trailer….can’t beat the price!! If the kids are happy in it….I’m happy!

  5. We are thrilled with the Rocket! Our two-year old and one-year old love this trailer. The two-year old asks to go riding in it. A few days ago he asked and then I found him patiently waiting in it even though I had not answered his request yet. Our one-year old heads straight for the Rocket when I tell him we are going for a ride. I take them to the grocery store in the Rocket finding it easy to convert it to a stroller. It has really allowed me a great way to get in shape while giving the boys fun in the outdoors.

I also like the fact there is room in the back for a change of cloths/diapers. Before the trailer I had to wait on someone to ride with us to carry one child in a bike seat while I carried the other in a bike seat on my bike. And there was no room for a change of clothes for the boys unless I put on a backpack. Now I can go to the water park and carry towels, clothes, and even food for lunch in the storage of the Rocket along with the boys. It is the perfect trailer for our family!
